Hello! Let's see.... As Mr. Kitchen said, the Amphetameanies are very good indeed, and well worth going to see on Friday if you live in the greater Glasgow area. The skanking new single "Last night" is out soonish or now, and it is just great! We went to see them at the Battle of the Bands in the QM on Saturday night, they didn't win they came second which amused me no end as they're not strictly a student band now, are they? If you come on Friday you can expect a lot of skinheads with green bomber jackets and 64 hole doc marten boots. Och, they're harmless, just boys having a bit of fun. I heard three songs of THE GENITAL WARTS album in John Smiths. It sounded just like I thought it would. At first I thought the Looper album was juts a load of sentimental tosh Then something came upon me and I got a lump in my throat. My favourite bits are the spacey noise in Dave the Moon Man and the start of burning flies when it goes <croaks> "burning fli i i i i e e s". In that he says something about a beach on Balmaha, which is by Loch Lomond. One of the pictures of Isobel on the GENETIC WANKS website looks an awful lot like a beach on Balmaha, which is by Loch Lomond. Coincidence? I don't think so. It's funny how Stuart David comes across all shy and sweet on the album whereas in real life he's from Balloch in the Vale of Leven, which means he's autohard as nails. As we all know he's got a terrible temper (demonstrated in the pish/leaving incident). I think the next looper album will be more along the lines of the Prodigy, with song titles like "The Seven Year Bitch" and "Fuck off to the Moon, Spaceman".
