Is Didier the fish a homage to the late, great grand prix/power boat racer Didier Pironi? He was my all time hero as a little kid, even more than Gilles Villeneuve who he drove alongside. Or perhaps it's a reference to Didier Partouche, a one-time Going for Gold champion (must have been 1993, I think) with simply the greatest helmet-styled haircut going. And to think I was waiting for something relevant and sharp to say before my next posting. I would like to put forward the name Benefactors for the fish. I think it's got a lovely ring to it, and any ex-Warwick alumni will, at least, know what I'm talking about.
