There was a tiny meetup on Thursday as myself and Kelly (a Sinister lurker) met up for the Arab Strap gig. It's amazing how many people you see with dark hair and a green leather jacket when you're looking for one. Then I started thinking 'Was it green hair and a dark jacket?'. (It wasn't). What a great venue the Union Chapel is. Lovely. Do they still use it for church services? Arab Strap were great -weary vocals - blasts of distortion- big long gaps - silence - atmosphere. Stunning.
