hello all.... i don't post much - but i thought i'd drop my worthless two pence into the fraggle about whether or not B&S are selling out...... i suppose that i'm a little clueless as to how this notion came about - what is it they are doing different this time? here's a thought - have a little faith - when the merchandise was leaving jeepster everyone was up in arms about how *they* were going commercial and we'd have to pay too much for our beloved badges...... that is until it came out that they were moving the merchandise closer to home and giving it to the lovely Katrina to run - then.... all was very quiet on the Sinister front..... sometimes this list is just like a woman in menopause in that everything is the worst thing possible and the worst thing is only a prelude to tomorrow...... talk about melodrama folks.....<note - see the humor in this - laugh a little... before you send me tons of email about how i'm being insensitive to woman in general and those in menopause> lest we forget that this is the bands 4th album - plus there are all the EP's to consider - since day one the music community at large has championed their arrival - so is it any wonder that they are becoming increasingly more popular with the masses? and is this a bad thing? should we all stay as we were four years ago - with no personal or professional growth? is everyone on this list stagnated to one place? this much i know isn't true as there are several very successful people on this list.... my point is - let's ride this out...... if they get *huge* you can say affectionately, "i knew them when...." and ..... on the plus side - those "original" t-shirts and badges will be worth good money in twenty years time - then we can all appear on VH1 in a B&S "Before They Were Rock Stars" Special....... elle +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
