From what I can see I think he is going to take his life soon. He has already started to give away all of his possessions, including his music collection this is horribly disturbing. I don't know what to do. I don't believe that any one should have control over others lives I believe

I am but a "lurker", but I couldn't help respond to this one. I don't think I have much to say on it. I would just like to say that you should do all you can to help him through this problem. It is most likely a phase of some sort of bad things happening to him (these things usually are) and you should try to let him know that everything always gets better. It's the truth. At least in my experience. If he doesn't listen, never blame yourself, as hard as that will seem. Just try to help him, and know you did all you could for a friend you loved and cared for. About the new album: It took more time than usual to get into this one, but I have reached the point at where I like all the songs to a certain extent. I love several. It's a really good album, No "strap" or IYFS, but still good. I find it funny that the hardcore BS fans are more critical of them than most of the critics are.
