i like the way belle and sebastian have managed to stay loyal to jeepster...after the brit award thing i imagine most major labels were foaming at the mouth trying to tempt them away from jeepster...
Well I'm not surprised this ploy failed. No one wants to catch rabies. Not even mad dog Murdoch. I think they've given up foaming anyway. The other day Sky News's entertainment correspondent was giving his expert opinions on the Brit nominations. 'The Brit Awards are a funny thing anyway,' he opined. 'I mean do you remember a band that won last year called Belle and Sebastian?' The dream team (old man and glam woman) newsreaders looked blank. 'EXACTLY!' cried the man triumphantly.
