hi again, we're back with another update for everyone stateside and with tickets for the US dates. we've just spoken to the band and can now confirm a few details: firstly the Chicago gig and the remainding dates on the tour are all on. the band are at the moment heading to chicago and intend to play the gig when they get there. secondly, isobel's state has improved loads, but she's still ill. she's come off the anti-biotics that had ruined the last two dates and has returned to her prior state of simply being infected with a stomach flu. obviously this isn't the best situation, but she is able to keep her food down and is apparently in high spirits (whilst being off-colour!). she will be on stage at the chicago gig (providing nothing else untoward happens to her). we've had a few people request where they can send their get well wishes for Isobel to. for all the stateside listees, it's probably best to send them to Matador (c/o Kris Gillespie, 625 Broadway, 12th floor, NYC, NY, 10012). for everyone else, you can send anything to us at Jeepster and we'll pass them on for when she gets back (217 Canalot, 222 Kensal road, London, W10 5BN). thirdly, for all of the people who attended the Philly show and were due to attend Toronto, refunds will be supplied by contacting the company who sold you your tickets. the band have again expressed their deep regret at not being able to play, they know that some of you travelled a very long way to attend the gigs and apologise. chris was incredibly brave to walk on stage at Philly and to say 'sorry', i can only imagine how harrowing his apology was. the band do want to express this apology again, they are very sorry. any updates on this will appear on the news page at http://www.jeepster.co.uk/belleandsebastian/news/index.shtml cheers David & Katrina +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
