i've just finished a gruelling 17hr shift in the devils playground ( the post office ) to find out that ATP has been cancelled ...this was my light at the end of the tunnel...this is why for the last 3 weeks i've been killing myself doing double shifts to pay for a ticket & beer tokens ...i had a feeling soon after it was announced that something like this would happen... it was too soon after the first Bowlie ... somebody at Foundation got very greedy...& has got his/her fingers burnt. Bowlie sold out in a few weeks...( i wonder why ? duh ) ATP always lacked a BIG name...it was a pretty good line up but it always lacked the show stopper. there was no proper notice board ..., the first Bowlie was so well planned and executed that this always seemed to be a " quick cash in " i saw Bowlie as being an annual event ...that would feature B&S ...to be honest it didn't matter to me what other bands were playing ...the fact the first Bowlie had such a fantastic lineup was a bonus ... the moral of this story is that when certain people think that they can " read the kids " & organise these things when there heart is not in it ...they tend to go pear shaped... and we the fans always tend to suffer... i'm off to sleep now ...sorry if i've ranted ...but i am very annoyed and very tired. richard. ps i had a bad vibes after i saw the poor excuse of a ticket that they issued. +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
