hi :)
i have the next week off from school and i want to go down to the library to get some new books to read.. i was wondering if you sinisters have any good recommendations for me.. im in the mood for a book with a belle and sebastian type story - about love and obsessions and average events that are not-so-average when looked at closely.. something similar to the beautiful, beautiful "belle lettres" from the tangents ezine... or just send me any sort of book list!
thanks for the help..

Carson McCullers, 'The heart is a lonely hunter' It's been mentioned on the list before, and that's why I read it - may I take the opportunity of thanking whoever it was that mentioned it, as it is the best thing I have read for such a long time. It is very belle and sebastian, really sensitive and touching... Is her other stuff as good? Other books I'd recommend: Dostoevsky - Netochka Nesvanova Hermann Hesse - Gertrude that's all for now rob xx ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
