Sinister: People Under The Stairs
Hello peoples, Today is my birthday. Birthdays are no longer significant for me - I'm always quite sussed about my birthdays these days. You see, I'm old - almost thirty. Is it just me or does the last verse Stuart sings in 'Women's Realm' sound like something from a Manfred Mann song (Blinded By The Light, maybe). Was this a clever attempt or am I way off? About those shirts: I think they fit kind of snug but I like that. I've gotten heavier like Isobel (from what I hear). I weighed 164 last summer whereas I weigh 176 now. 'I'd rather be fat than be confused', obviously. It was probably a couple of years ago I was 'looking stupid being used and being thin.' My cousin had anorexia. It had nothing to do with images of beautiful, waify people in magazines but everything to do with the fact that her father was an ass who deserted the family. But to say that's what caused her anorexia wouldn't be *noble* enough, would it? Style over substance is pervasive everywhere, even in psychiatry. I'm going to see The Who tonight. Maybe they'll play something more interesting than that 'Tommy' crap. Something like 'Naked Eye' or 'However Much I Booze'!
