Sinister: First post - shitting myself!
Hi All I'm really pleased today because I received my original copy of Tigermilk in the post - I bought it on Ebay. I'm dead excited as I decided to start collecting B&S stuff a few months ago and this is by far the best piece in my collection. Hooray!!!! Well, what a miserable day but I couldn't care less because I'm in one of those moods where I can't be arsed to do any work. This is my first message to the list even though I have been on it for some time. I really love reading all your posts! I work in the music industry and have been in to all sorts of music for ages but have never been so into a band as much as Belle and Sebastian. Every now and then I'll make people in the office listen to them. Everyone here claims to hate them (which is good because I get all the B&S freebies when they come in the post). In this office they have been nicknamed Bell-end and Semen or Bob and Sharon! But I know they love them really. There's not much else to say - I live in London and will be going to that new indie night Strange Fruit on Saturday, it sounds wicked - thanks for the flyer, whoever sent it. My favourite album is IYFS. And I really love the new album. It gets better and better each time I listen to it. The Model is a beautiful song. Wicked lyrics and vocals!!! Thanks for reading!!
