i dont mean to perpetuate what has been called a "flaming" but i think i object more to the justification of the "song" (with its A-level bullet point style breakdown of B&S themes) than i ever did to the parody/pastiche/joke, which just fell on some stoney ground. i understand it was a joke, but i spend every day of term doing this to books i love, stripping away their magic with pieces of A-4, and getting pissed off with them in the process. i wouldn't ever like this to happen to music i love. 1. stand by your failures as you would your successes. 2. analysis can 3. sometimes 4.be 5. paralysis Jimmy Jazz ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
