Sinister: cool pet names
Hello everyone I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with a cool pet name. I just bought a gorgeous little Black Moor fish(the ones with bug-eyes) but I'm having trouble coming up with a name. My boyfriend wants to call it "Fluffy" but I think that's a pathetic name.....I wanted to call it "Superfly" but I already have a dog by that name so I guess i'd be overdoing the Curtis Mayfield/blaxploitation etc thing. Any suggestions anyone? :) Sarah D ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net". I suggest diabologum or bubblegum... or anything ending by gum... I don't know why but I like the names ending by gum except chewinggum but well... And diabologum is the best french band ever existed (but they splitted...snif)and bubblegum is a song(I love the sonic youth version) +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net". If I had a pet, I think I'd name it "Major Tom". Or possibly "Riff-Raff". Or Belle. Or Sebastian. Whatever. A friend of mine has a cat named "Fisen", which translates to Fart. She considers naming one of the puppies in the next batch "Semtex". --Fredrik +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net". Hey folks! My dad used to teach in a first school and once they inherited a couple of guinea pigs ( which can only survive on first school air) called Fluff and Muff. Then Fluff died and parents wondered why my dad had a guinea pig called Muff. If anyone has ever seen a guinea pig that is not in a school or in a pen with a rabbit, could you let me know? I'd like to put it in my I Spy book of pets - they're very rare, you know. It used to be my ambition when I was young to play either the bagpipes or the trombone. In the end I learnt how to play the trombone, and although my Scottish Aunty Margaret would send me bagpipe magazines every month trying to make me change my mind, I never did. Sometimes I still wish I had learnt to play them, although as my dad said at the time "it would mean building a soundproof shed at the bottom of the garden". Funny how I always e-mail more when I'm supposed to be revising.
