This week's Guardian (a ubiquitous free local independent weekly paper here in SF) has a quirky little bit where they pair wine with bands.. they have Portishead as Graham's Port ("deep, lavish, intoxicating") and Hanson as Gallo Chablis cos it's "overly sweet and likely to induce vomiting." Belle and Sebastian are mentioned (!) and here's what they say: "Guenoc sauvignon blanc; crisp, very dry, and very white; several degrees cooler than chardonnay."
