St.Etienne are not, as has been reported on this list, a band or a football team. The real St.Etienne was an Andalucian monk from South Manchester who was belatedly cannonised when it was discovered that he had built the first animal shelter - which later became known as Fox Base Alpha. His real name was Charlie. A co-worker of mine mistakenly - through stupidity rather than abstrusity - referred to B&S as Sebastian & Geoff, which defies all logical explanation, although it would make an interesting name for a tribute band. Speaking of which, does anyone know of any B&S tribute bands in existence? Did anyone see the marvellously pretending to be pissed Arab Strap on the Jo Wiley show?
