Someone told me it was referring to Gregg's bakeries...but they are not very bourgeois are they? 99 p for 5 iced fingers hardly seems extravagant. And I thought they spray-painted the song title outside the Art School, didn't they? I'm convinced it must all be a ploy to sell more copies of the Socialist Worker. Didn't Stuart David once have a job as a paperboy for them?

Blair Witch Project? I'm more excited about Marvin & Tamara, the new 13 year old duo who are taking the UK by storm with their smashing little song. I damn nearly cried when I saw them -- it was a miniature version of Marvin and Tammi themselves. And if you don't know who *they* are...get some soul in you.

Continuing with my celebrity spottings, I was walking to the bus after work the other day and a big van pulled up in front of the Midland hotel (very posh). Who should come out but the two Elvis girls from the Cartoons! And how did I know it was them? Because they actually wear their hair like that in the daytime -- but not the white studded hotpants, thank god!
