Lurkers unite! [ My only weakness is a list of rhymes ] So what does this have to do with anything? Very little except that I had my first Belle and Sebestian dream last night. I was a student in a wee-kiddie classroom where all the students were barnyard animals save me. Isobel was the teacher and we were turning in book reports. I remember liking very much how she sat on the corner of her desk in her starched white blouse, oddly wearing those cat-like glasses common in the late 50's. It made me wonder whether she was part cat, although she had no such physical characteristics to mention. I was so shy that when I went to turn in my book report that I wasn't able to look her in the face. I walked right up to her with my eyes averted (I think down) and slid my paper on the top of the pile. All I could think was that I hoped she would like mine and read it in class the next day. I figured if that happened the next time I turned in my book report I'd look her straight in the eyes... Anyway, not much of a wild dream, just more of a spring daydream so it sent me off to think of faux book report titles (or perhaps more like theses) that might catch the eyes of a literary sweetie, hopefully one that was as much of a nutter as myself.
