Sinister: b&s on mtv? ain't gonna happen.
If we could like start a petition for B&S to make a video that would be MTV worthy.
i don't know what mtv channel you kids are watching, but the mtv channel i've surfed on by for the last five years or so doesn't play something as silly as a 'music video'. so don't get your hopes up. you might see a belle and sebastian video played a total of, say, once, on the show called 120 minutes. but last time i watched that, they were just playing old crap and things that weren't exactly 'non-mainstream'. plus, if you haven't heard, mtv (and the rest of the kids), aren't exactly interested in sad, gentle pop music. more like, horrible, sexist, homophobic rock/rap or new kids on the block clones or fifteen year old porn stars. try to make quality music, and the kids respond with a resounding 'NO, we want utter CRAP, if you please'. of course, i'm talking about american mtv. i heard rumors that M2 and other non-american mtv channels are much better. M2 did have Bobby Conn as a guest dj, so they can't be that bad. but i have no idea where m2 is even broadcast. anyway, enough ranting. anyone read a book called Ordinary People, by Judith Guest? i just started it. it's pretty good. sincerely, kittenmouse +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
