Hello girls and boys Well, I've just got back from a long weekend in York (very long actually, it started on Wednesday), where I saw my friend play her first gig in her fabby band Carolyn. Before I went I gave it a quick plug on the list but I'm sure none of you remember that. Anyway while I was there I kept on seeing a cute Belle and Sebastian boy in a Stowe t-shirt and a duffle coat and some squarey specs and I wanted to go and say hello but I was just too shy, so I didn't. And then me and Melanie got silly on red wine and after giggling and falling and bouncing we drooped and moaned and wept because we like shy boys (she has a shy boy too who's tall and lovely but too shy), but we're shy too and so much pining happens and little else. This was just a bit of my life I wanted to share with you. If the cute York Belle and Sebastian boy is reading this sorry for labelling you shy - I've never even met you. But you looked shy. Doozer constructions are made out of potato starch. The Bonnie 'Prince' Billy album is the most dark and beautiful thing you are likely to hear for a long time. Thats all.
