Sinister: Football (again).
It must be a connection between Midlands football teams and B&S, as I'm a Forest fan, and I know of at least one other on the list. I'm 27 (pushing that B&S average age up), and am a physiology technician here in dull Oxford (except when it's sound city, or when B&S play !!). Stop it, stop it, STOP IT! Rhys said earlier he was amazed to realise he was one year older to the say than Stuart M, well I am HORRIFIED to report that this is looked after by someone who is TEN years minus one day older than Sarah. Yes that's 33, and an ex-astronomer who now looks after the computers at the Univ of Edinburgh. Now I bet you all want to unsubscribe. This age distribution is skewed horribly I reckon (I hope!) by people either too young or more likely too old wanting to admit it. Please someone come out and pretend to be older than me or something. Or give me a medal for still liking decent music and caring at my age. Or something. Someone mentioned about wearing pigtails to shock people in 62 and how it was another world then. Well, ask Linda, I tied my hair back in a ponytail the other day and my Dad (30 proud years as a Cadbury's personnel manager) nearly had a heart seizure. I'm trying the pigtails idea next week. Anyway, keep the Tigermilks coming, I am adding them up, very impressed and hoping to forget all this age stuff until someone admits they're over 40 at which point I will cease to fear I'm about to go out and buy a Neil Diamond LP. I'm actually much more interested in the *gender* spread of the list, but too shy to ask. Paul mailto:owner-sinister@majordomo.net P.S. ho hum, i was trying to avoid responding to all this hoo-ha, but here we go: i'm (cough) 31 and i teach art and design to a bunch of ingrates in a dull town in Devon. (Tim, amongst others will tell you the best thing about this town is it's by-pass). I don't live in said town, however, preferring the rarified atmosphere of Exeter. I am constantly plugging B&S, and yesterday stuck up big posters for Sinister and the Glasgow/Edinburgh shows (thanks Leslie, a bunch of things on the way as trade!) on my wall, to which a few yr10 responded today with admiration. I've also a collection of promo photos, clippings, the cartoon... etc up to show how hip i am :-). Not content woth this, I also played them and talked about them in assemblies recently for yr 10 and 11, so now they all at least know the name and the alleged story of how they formed! A number have also asked for tapes and badges... Oh yeah, and all the expressive arts dept now sport the enamel badges, and the Duchess, who teaches english, wears a dog on wheels button. Are we the coolest teachers in Britain?? ha ha.

does anyone out there have any sort of B&S poster/picture/wrapper/ANYTHING that might be used as wall decor? I would love to have something of theirs (a promo poster for one of the EPs, say) but as of yet my search for B&S memorabilia has not been fruitful. all I have is the ticket stub from the NY gig that I went to, and the tiny Dog on Wheels pin that they gave out for free there. nothing particularly suited for wall aesthetics. we could arrange a trade of some kind, if anyone out there can help me out... please email me directly if you've got the goods and would be willing to share... thanks!
