I will be honest. I always thought it would be quite impossible to dream about every member of the bellend sebastian. even more difficult and unlikely, i thought, to dream about them playing instruments in a gig situation, with each member playing the right instrument. With me recognising each member because they looked SOOOOO life like. And arse me if i wasn't right. I had been considering (in real life, not dream world...) putting on gigs at the arts cinema i work at, and it has been occupying my head rather a lot recently. Evidently, when combined with going to sleep listening to B&S it results in dreams about me putting gigs on with B&S playing. But here is the crucial bit. There were 4 Isobels, all the same but with different hair. They seemed to be doing most of the boring stuff that doesn't involve being The Murdoch and looking quite angry. It was definately Belle and Sebastian though because someone in my dream deemed in neccesary to stand up and shout about it being to quiet. The others were there, but they all hid their faces from me.... Suffice to say my promoters aspirations have been somewhat dulled, as i have a feeling this gig wasn't a sucess. I think it was a sign. But then again, maybe it was a good sign. i'm trying to think of bands suitable to sitting down events. mail me off list if you have any particually wonderful ideas....bearing in mind that, as yet, sitting down isn't the new standing up and being noisy and all excited. yet. anyway...
