Hello People I'm 19 and from england and happen to be in the us for a month and in chicago for a few days. I saw Ian's email and thought it would be exciting to go see this band I like. But for any gig in at least this state, I guess in bars, you have to have ID saying you're at least 21. So I got turned away. This just seems really outrageous to me. I can't see any rational really as theres lots of money to be made, it just seems oppressive. I don't have much to say except I was disappointed, american policy is stupid and if I ever tour the US I'll try and do a few gigs in cafes or somewhere younger people can get in, Emma

so, at long last the Cameras have ventured over to the states. first show is monday in san diego, then they wend their way across purple-mounted majesties to scenic new jersey over the next three weeks. check out tour dates and go see them!
