Sinister: hey baby, i'm gonna make you a staaaaaaar
hello you sillyheads, well, today is all about homework. actually, yesterday had a lot to do with homework too, so this isn't so shocking. but anyway i've been trying to think of an idea for my final film. i was actually thinking on friday and got the idea to make a musical number. basically it would involve all of my friends making a valiant attempt to dance. choreographed to "he's on the phone". however, i have found just about *no* interest. most people are busy, the others are just refusing to dance. how poncey. i know that if keith were here he would air guitar like one mean mothafucka. and i'm sure that tag would not let him dance alone. soon any number of R!U!L!E!R!S! would come into action. perhaps mr miller would fly in from sunny spain to go head to head in the british isles airguitar championship. ah, to dream.... anyway, if anyone has a good idea for something that's feasible to film, feel free to share. so i don't die of lack of final project. hmmm, i thought i had other things to say, but i'm having problems remembering them. i'm glad that genevieve is posting to the list again. what would i do without her imaginary boyfriends (though drop dead fred scared me, he could fold himself into a box and things like that just aren't right) or pictures of stuart david's nipples? and genni, i really need to see that. i went to a record fair yesterday, though i didn't see any copies of tigermilk. that's ok, i couldn't see myself buying it for some inflated sum, especially with the rerelease. i bet the band member who sold his to the used store before it was released (according to the sleeve notes) is really sorry now. that should be a lesson to you all, keep records taht you play on, in case they become terribly rare and sought after less than two years after the initial release. well, maybe a little more, but still the band released that in '96. that's an amazingly large amount of stuff to put out in a two year period, and an amazing distance to travel. from being a band no one knows of to being on the tip of the tongue of all those in the know. er, so to speak. ;) i'm slightly biased on this one. allright, enough dawdling, time to work on homework. xox megan mkl206@is8.nyu.edu visit the magnetic fields web page at: http://www.dissemination.com/megan/magneticfields/ +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
