Sinister: I slipped on the sun cream
Hey there, I invented a new football chant the other day, whilst watching a very boring game of Bolton vs Portsmouth. It's about the Bolton defender J'lloyd Samuel, and it goes like this: J'Lloyd, I'm ready to be heartbroken You can't go no further, so pass it to Kevin Nolan? It's good, no? I went to dance on Saturday and I had a drink of whiskey - talk about a Belle and Sebastian moment. And wasn't it just fitting that whilst I was there dancing, I saw several from the sinister massive: including Stevie Trousers, the Pinefox, and Feather Boa. They all seemed, as was I, thrilled about the picnic that is soon to come. It's going to be pretty good, I reckon. I realised the other day what a silly bugger I was to be thinking about the rain that won't happen on Saturday, because IT WON'T HAPPEN. The weather is going to be beautiful and we'll have fun sitting on top of a hill watching the so very nice view. I can't stop listening to Blur lately. It's really strange. It makes me nostalgic about London when I first moved there, actually it's probably more London when I was about 2 years into moving there. London and I had lots of excitements back then - we had some brilliant fun times but sometimes it hurts me a lot, too - London and I still get on wonderfully, and we know each other so well, that almost everyday is pleasant, and I've learnt to live with its idiosyncrasies that when things go wrong I don't feel so dreadful anymore. I wonder if this is what it means to be growing up.. and I wonder if I prefer this. What I meant when I said all that was.. er, some Blur might happen on Saturday night at the Harrisons. So.. watch out!
