The competition had to be abandoned due to poor refereeing, as I accidentally dug up all of the spuds and put them in a bucket without thinking of checking to see which one was the biggest. I know. I'm sorry. Imagine the horror when I found out. THE HORROR!! My mum told me to dig up every last spud, even the tiny ones, but I never did. Apparently, leaving them in the ground through the winter makes them go funny. She always told me to wear an anorak on days like today, too, but i never listen. Instead I just sat in the kitchen, looking at the freshly dug soil and thinking of all those wonderful treats I could cook up with my spuds, and thinking what a clever fellow I'd been. I should have known better. This summer, the garden has been overtaken by mutant zombie potato plants, which have risen from the dead. And it's raining outside and I've only got a cardigan to wear... I shall do my best to fight against racism on Saturday, although it is possible I shall simply get lost. I shall hopefully see Mark on SUNDAY, though, but I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to the pub. Why is no one going on Sunday, that's what I want to know. You losers.
