Hallo sinipops, It's leafy and green round here, and the flowers have unfurled and tickle my nose in the morning. This particular morning, as I ate breakfast, I found a pink pigeon perched on the apple tree outside my window. He looked exhausted. His feathers were in disarray and his moustache was drooping. I put down the Racing Post and invited him in for a cup of coffee (tea is still too much to bear), and he told me his story. He had flown all the way from Sweden, he said - yes, Sweden! "Well, your English is excellent", I said. "Oh, it's only pigeon English", said he. And, as his moustache began to perk up he told me he had a letter for all of you. "From Simon", he said, "You may remember him, and you should pay attention to what he says. He's a very important person. I've flown a long way for him, and I'd do it again." He dropped the leter on the table, and with a quick tip on Brassy Lad in the 3.30 at Chepstow he hopped, skipped and flew out of the window. I opened the letter; this is what it said:

Hello Sinister! Remember me? I've actually been on the list for quite some time, but the old address with which I once subscribed won't let me send, only receive... so it's been awfully quiet from me I guess, though someone might remember the old Sinister Village site (which actually still exists, but is nowadays hardly visited - maybe it is now a ghost town?) which I made for you. Oh, it's still at http://move.to/sinistervillage, but the message board doesn't work :(

So anywhoo, the point... I know I put it here somewhere... oh yes, I'm leaving Gothenburg, Sweden for London this summer, for two months starting sometime in the middle of June, and it would be really super to hook up with some people. Especially since I don't know anyone in that awfully big city of yours. I would love to just hang out, get to know the city, the clubs, have a few too many beers... oh yeah and make some music maybe, and record some songs, because I'm probably gonna bring the old laptop and some instruments...
