I would like to express my appreciation for the many sinister members who took time to e-mail me about my mom's illness. She had the surgery today and she will hopefully be much better soon. Unfortunately, she has to have an even more unpleasant surgery later this week. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your kindness. This really is the greatest list in the world.
