Tonight while watching Buffy, we (the Powers That Be in NYC Sinisterland) decided to have a picnic. We said the first Saturday of June, but that would be the 2nd, which is a little early for a first Saturday! So I think the 9th sounds about right. So June 9th, 2 pm, we're going to party in the park!!! Right? You're all coming, right?! Okay the picnic will be in the same spot as the one last September (for lack of better planning) and I can guarantee it's not in Primrose Hill or Greenwich and we're not arguing about it like those English fuckers. This particular picnic spot, in case you weren't there (although you SHOULD have been), is right behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the east side of the Great Lawn. (If you ever fly to points east of the Newark airport, ie Europe, you should fly at night and look at Manhattan from above. The streetlights around the Great Lawn form this amazing pattern.) More details later, I'll keep reminding you of the picnic because I really want you to come! It's no one's birthday this time, but you can still bring me presents.
