I met SD at Bowlie. He's about 40 and looks like a caveman. He said he hates festivals, doesn't understand the appeal of B&S and was staying in a hotel. God knows why the NME chose him to do that piece. He was clearly there against his will and hated everything about it. They should have got John Mulvey to write it, He spent the entire weekend grinning like a mad fool, but that could have been more about the drugs Mogwai fed him than the music or the atmosphere...
