Sinister: list crush
erm, just thought i'd check the script before we left, and what do i find? rod begbie is number one! but as one person managed to vote all 20 times behind some proxy server or something i've had to delete him from the fray of list crushes! sorry, but cheating really isn't sporting. on the same note, the whole top five are currently on the tightrope of being deleted too, whoever it is with BT as their ISP who's voting for Beth for example, your intentions may be lovely, but you may also get her deleted! the list crush thing is there for a laugh, no-one should need to cheat, it really isn't that important! oh, and one last thing, if you really do have a crush on someone, why not just mail them? cheers david ----------------------------------------------------------------------- david kitchen : jeepster recordings ltd http://www.jeepster.co.uk/ http://www.jeepster.co.uk/belleandsebastian/ http://www.jeepster.co.uk/salako/ http://www.jeepster.co.uk/snowpatrol/ mailto:shop@jeepster.co.uk jeepster recordings ltd, 217 canalot, 222 kensal road, london w10 5bn to subscribe to the news mailing list mail majordomo@jeepster.co.uk with the words 'subscribe news' in the body of the message there is no need to subscribe if you are on the 'sinister' list +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net". OK folks, I'm out of here as of tomorrow, back to my parents' place for the Christmas holidays. What fun. When I get back, I expect to be able to look in the archives and find a deep discussion as to the meaning of the phrase "Soul Of An Unearthly" which is emblazoned on the back of the PYJAMAS ep. On my first listen to it yesterday (after I finally found a copy - HMV didn't have any at all, had they sold out by 2pm on the day of release?) my first reaction to The Gate was that the guitar strumming at the start is identical to the guitar strmming at the start of Mary Jo. It's a good song, I just think the drums are too high up in the mix, but never mind. Oh yeah, and I had a dream about Salako last night, which is probably a first. I was watching a video of one of their songs - can't remember which one - and it had been filmed at the Borderline gig last month, and I could see myself in the audience. Bizarre. Well that's about it. This is no declaration, I just thought I'd let you know goodbye. Big Stu And a big slobbering kiss under the mistletoe to you all. Especially to the single females out there... +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
