Oh good. Hello. Hello Sinister persons. Sinisterines. As you can tell I've just been released from the pit of virtual ignorance and youth that is the nursery. It's torture in there, you know. All these emails flying at you which you are forced to read, enjoy and store away in your mind before you are allowed to respond. But it was nice all the same... I read about the list in Select. But I have been a fan of B&S since Lazy Line Painter Jane. I just didn't think about looking for a website. I'm not one for remembering lyrics, because I prefer the tunes. Anyway, without any further annoyance on my part I thought I'd tell you who I am, why I'm here e.t.c e.t.c useless and highly likely boring information which you probably don't want to read. My name is Rob and I like Belle and Sebastian. Yes, I do. I'm 19, twenty in twelve days. I'm a student. I guess alot of other B&S fans are students too. But I also guess that alot aren't. That's a warming fact to know. Anyway, I study Theatre and Media Drama and Geography at the University of Glamorgan in Wales. It's a horrible place, with nasty 1960's archetecture that makes me sad. And the only place to go out is Cardiff, which is rubbish. No one's heard of Belle and Sebastian. And they all wear Kappa. I'm not sure if I fit into the whole twee thing, because I like to go out clubbing in indie clubs, as well as being forced to listen to Steps in gay clubs by my friends which I hate, and most of my favourite bands are not very twee. But some are. My favourite club of all time is Popstarz in London. I saw a girl with a Bowlie wrist band in there on Friday last. Hello to that girl if you are on the list!
