Is it just me, or is the list crush website ripe for abuse? No offense to David or Stu, 'cause the site looks great, and that's a whole lotta work for our little pleasure, and don't think that I don't conjure up every little ounce of appreciation for that site on an hourly basis. But is there anything that stops people from getting their friends to vote a billion times? It's cynicism I guess. I'm just wondering how certain people got ANY crush votes...that's right, I don't love my Sinister cohorts equally. I play favorites. I'm not proud of it, but that's the way it is. BUT...I got nothin' but love for the two people who saved all their list crush kisses for This Guy. I've taken far too long to thank the mysterious two. You're very nice, but trust me: I'm a bastard in real life. Speaking of bastards (meant in the nicest way possible), I had no clue that good ol' loveable Brad was a 411 operator. Aren't you in Atlanta, Brad? Next time I'm down there, I'll call 411 and ask for you. Is there a nickname I should use? Steel? Shaft? Steel Shaft? Oh, a quick note to Heather, Ginger and all other Chapel Hill/Triangle/anyone who's willing to drive Sinister members: I talked to Brian at Two Way Pull records, and he's apparently getting a few copies of the new EP in. From what I understood, he expected them in about a week after the release date (unless I misunderstood and he'll actually have them on Mon!), but if you think you might want one, give him a call and he might be able to get a few more. If that fails, and you don't feel like mail ordering, Schoolkids was good about getting in the other EP's, although I don't know how long it would take them to get it in stock. No wonder I've written in so rarely lately: I don't really have much to say. One question, though, and I'm fully aware that it'll make me look like an idiot: What the hell is all this subbuteo (?) tomfoolery? Like everything else on this list, I'll just assume it's a joke until I get a full explanation.
