No questions asked and I was fully refunded with CASH. 2. Bought Joy Division album after hearing great things about them. It was shit. Took it back to HMV and said it was the wrong album. Got HMV tokens to the full price of album. These helpfully contributed to the purchase of my brother in laws christmas present.
My favorite scheme is to go to a local record store and find a sealed copy of an album (usually costs $8 or $9) and return it at a major store for something I really want. Actually, this is how I got IYFS! The used store previously had a copy, but it was gone. So I bought something like Barenaked Ladies and took it to Tower. I guess I was feeling sinister that day. I feel bad now that it turned out to be my favorite album of 1997. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
