Is there an official line on B and S and TOTP? I mean, would the band appear on the show if they ever, for some reason, got round to releasing a new EP and it scraped the Top 20? Or do they have too many principles? Couldn't they do a New Order and insist on playing live? It said a while ago on S David's site that when 369 charted they were asked to play and said yes. Then TOTP said they didn' want them. Then it was on again, and finally off. I suppose this means that there is no objection.

2) a northern soul compilation (good thing about this being that i love ns but bad thing being that Vanessa Paradis is on it - Ms. Paradis dusn't seem to have a northern soul, to me, mate) There's a really good northern soul comp called Cooler Shakers (i know) out at the moment. It only costs £6.99 too. They have it in Freebird, Eden Quay, just over O Connell bridge. Hope this is of some help. love joss
