I must agree with the ever so angelic Angeleno M. Cholet, the House- martins were a brilliant mid 80's English soul pop band. There music made the summers even more fun and happy and warmed up the winters because you couldn't stop moving to their music. One of the most fun concerts I've experienced was the Housemartins in London after their first record came out. Pure joy. Unfortunantly now, the music they're making as The Beautiful South is not as well written, but still has his beautiful voice. I as well will not be making the LA picnic, for I am starting a lullaby record for the wee little ones to sleep to. Also, I need a clarification. Define twee.
