Sinister: Is it getting heavy?
Yeah, it's bluddy (Jen, you're right) pissing it down. Clouds are light, but you still can't lift them. A happy new year to you all. So, down to list abuse business. Unfortunately for some, I'm coming down to dear old London town for this here Tigermilking thing, so as not to make Mark cry. What it is though, you see, is that I'll be arriving at 7 in the blinkin morning on Friday with a whole day to kill (and hopefully some neurons) before the event actually, as it were, happens. So what I would very much like though probably won't get are people who have Friday free and would perhaps like to have lunch/dinner/drink lots/generally amble, or all of the above. If you'd like to do this (though God only knows why you would) please (PLEASE) phone me today or tomorrow on 0141 956 6132 or from Friday on 07989 086204. If, as I expect, I receive no calls then I'll be wandering around trying to find an Our Price to spend my Christmas voucher in. Excitement, he wrote. Anyway, Hogmanay was quite good as they go, although I realised that I don't want to be a girl after kissing a man with too much facial hair and getting a sore face. I also met a bonkers old Irish woman who was a teacher and upon being asked what she taught replied "fucking children". Which is a good answer, although I feel obliged to worry ever so slightly about the double meaning inferred therein. My, that Sinister switch was something wasn't it, the way Honey just magicked it away from somewhere to somewhere else in the blink of an eye, without us even knowing. A bit like in Star Trek, where they transport people on to the Holodeck then put them somewhere else, and they're so stupid they don't even know that the brilliant technology of the 23rd century has turned them over and no mistake, chuck. As Debbie McGee has probably never said while under the duvet, "That's magic!". For some reason yesterday I ended up playing Mogwai's 'Burn Girl Prom Queen' to my 80 year old Grandpa, I think because it's got a brass band in it. His review was surprisingly good, he said it was "quite interesting, kind of hypnotic". Mind you, he's already cool, for previously mentioned reasons. Must dash and make some cash. Bye.
