I don't know. All I know is he came in late, with a younger fellow and sat down in the back, meaning near the door, I recognized him and made a note of it. The rumour I've heard is that the song "Seymour Stein" is basically "true," that he really loves the band and wanted to sign them to Sire. I don't know if anyone else noticed him, but Mr Stein was sitting about 5 feet away from me at the taping of Belle & Sebastians performance on the american television show "Sessions at West 54th."

Before the show, was he the one that they (the security guards) asked to leave because he was from a record label? The whole record company hierarchy confuses me, so I don't know what damn label he was from.
