Hello everybody, so there is another newbie posting to the list...I've been thinking about it for quite a while now, signing onto the list middle of february (so my nursery time should've ended exactly when the old sinister list gave up working - so I wsn't sure if I am allowed to post or not and waited patiently until I got the official 'yes' - But like this I defenitely I had more than 3 weeks nursery . Not that it is that important for me as I seem to be mure of a 'lurker' anyway... So whay am I posing to the list now? Well, I was just wondering if I am the only person from Germany on this list. I read about people form Canada, the UK, Australia and whatever, but I can't recall a posting by another German...Just in case there are any Germans, or even people from Hamburg, maybe we could somehoe get in contact? Because if there is one thing I am missing it is people who are into good music. I have to say I really love Belle and Sebastain (I suppose otherwise I wouldn't have subscribed tio this list...), but it's more their music I am interested in - I suppose you'd never find me drooling over one of the picture from one of the band-members. I also like heaps of other music, like Tindersticks, Arab Strap, Mercury Rev, Gomez, Rialto, P.J. Harvey, Manics, Smashing Pumpkins, Blur, Cure, dEUS, Zita Swoon, Pavement, Garbage, Elastica, Madder Rose, to name just a few. So what else...? I'm a 25 year old girl from Hamburg, at the moment I am busy enjoying the spring-weather which has taken over Haburg over the Easter-Weakend, I work for an Environmental management firm... I don't even have a spectacular story to tell how I came across B&S...SOmebody mentioned them on the Tindersticks list, I got interested, then a friend of mine bought 'TBWTAS', borrowed it to me, I liked it and bought myself the 'IYFS' - Not really fascinating is it.
