after napping rather continuously through the holidays to avoid overdosing on the family, <alas!> i have to return to work. you know that hackneyed thing about mondays?...it is too sadly accurate today. anyway, i'm all bleary-eyed and pumping for my car to make it to the top of the big hill (it's rather shitty, my kitty car) when blessed belle and sebastian comes over the airwaves. needless to say, i skip the morning cigarette and wake up right away and my car even kicks in and i make it to work just as TBWTAS is ending. it was on for one of the npr guys favorite albums of the year. so here i am now, about to actually start working. boo. but i wish you all wonderful mornings such as this.

oh and with all of the new people subscribing, is there anyone from around pittsburgh? just would like to meet some neighbors.
