hi, i'm emerging from perennial lurkerdom just to say a few words. i've never been sure what emo / twee / etc are. but then again i am weirded out by people who insist on these quasi-teutonic classifcations for music. and i always get chided by my friends with REAL indie street-cred for saying that. (because they think it's totally justifiable to say, "oh yeah, this is post-punk ska with a little disco influence" etc.) i think the best description of b&s was "sunny pop with rainy lyrics" but i can't remember where that came from. a review somewhere? maybe somebody knows. and why isn't anybody talking about the brooklyn concert last night? i only got to hear the last 5 or 6 songs (from "judy and the dream of horses" onward) because i was trapped at a rehearsal in manhattan. so i was hoping somebody would fill me in on what else they played, etc. xo peter +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
