Nick Dastoor was not alone at being impressed by the grooviness of Mon. Lenoir's radio slogan. I thought it was fab! What would be the equivalent on Radio 1 here in the U of K, I wondered... "Le plague of locusts...Le plague of Boils...C'est Chris Moyles..."?? I'm also seriously reconsidering potential titles for my autobiography now that I've found the phrase "au grand gallop" - it's wonderful and may displace "What's the point in being cool if you can't wear a sombrero". Oh decisions..decisions.... I love the tale of Kristen and her list crush. All the best to 'em I say and I'm happy because it proves that there's still snogging to be done among the biscuit nibbling cardigan set. Before Tim H!O!P!kins left (btw fans of that kind of punctuation will love "The Education of Hyman Kaplan" but I digress) he urged us all to put a little bitof our hearts into each post...So let me share what I love about this list I love the fact that I've posted a tape of great songs (big up yourself Nick Morton) from somebody I've never met to another complete stranger and I just received another tape in an envelope with little drawings on it - nice one Fluffy. I love the fact that I've got a Robin Hood hat in my house given to me by my lovely guests at the Shepherds Bush gig, I love the fact that the Girlfriend-in-a-can that another of my visitors gave me was recently guest of honour at a dinner party. I love the fact that there's going to be a big new years get together (but hate the fact that I'm not here at New Year - poo) I say we are the picnic-having, Pez-dispensing, booty-shaking, honey-hugging sinister list and I love it.
