Sinister: FRIDAY RAH PICNIC
Okay, I'll shut up after this one, I promise. The picnic before the RAH-gig is still on, (2pm, Albert Memorial and everything), But here's the contingency plan in case it chucks it down. There's a bandstand about 300 metres from the Albert Memorial, here: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?x=526250&y=179750&zoom=1&isp=187&ism=500&arrow=y?95,20 I reckon that if it's chucking it down, we go and eat sandwiches and drink under the bandstand, because it's not like it will be cold, just a bit wet, and the bandstand will provide dryness. Good idea? But it WILL be sunny, right? Excellent. See you there. Sam.x (your chaotic picnic mummy) PS If anyone has any better suggestions, please feel free to email me soon and tell me what you think they are... _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org. Hello Sinister, Ok, to say the least i went to the lucksmiths tonight, which right now is america's best bet for twee(since B&S are not here). Something strange happened, i met one of the first indie pop fans who did not like B&S(yet loved the lucksmiths, bus stop, and sarah bands go figure). It was quite amazing, and a bit shocking. The other fairly odd thing is i keep meeting indie pop listees, but never ever a sinister listees at these shows, i look for the pins, but they are not there. Come on people where are you? am i the only person intrested in other indie pop in america on this list, at least in new england? Oh well, just a bit sad over it. i am sorry i never emailed back the person who emailed me, i got busy, and then realized i could not meet up before the show(i had to drive 2 1/2 hours, but well worth every second in boston traffic). Well the show was great, the lucksmiths are witty ausies, i highly suggest you check them out, they are downright impossible not to like(both musically and as people). I know they will make it to wherever you live soon enough, so see them play. Oh yeah, and i met a historical figure in indie, the founder of teenbeat records, who opened for the lucksmiths. Ok have a great weekend sinister Chris P. PS it is t shirt weather. ===== www.mp3.com/sevenstars So many days pass lost in the skyline. Some things still take my heart away and leave me weaping. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
