hello everyone! i too am new to the list, so i'll do the standard thing by introducing myself.... i love belle and sebastian (of course!), but live in a place (newfoundland, canada) where no one knows who they are, "if you're feeling sinister" is not sold in any stores, and "the boy with the arab strap" is listed as a $26.99 (canadian) import. anyways, although i have no one to share my b&s obsession with, i still love them more and more each day.......... other bands i like (but ahave nowhere near b&s's status) are stereolab, pavement, tortoise, yo la tengo, helium, syrup usa and others.... so are there many canadians on the list? oh, and another question: what's everyone's favoutire band, aside from b&s (and related side projects)? well, that's all i really have to say. erika xox +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
