Sinister: Shah Shah a Go Go
This bit about eclecticism etc, B+S fans only being into this and that and stuff. More of a point was the fact that probably the only people I've ever met who are only into one specific type of music invariably aren't into it for the music at all... Make of this what you will, but in my experience it certainly seems to be the case. Virtually everyone I know and have ever known have loved loads of different types of music, and thank christ it's not been in some daft attempt to prove themselves better than others (more knowledge, more rare records etc). Me and my friends also have always got each other into new things, and it's always worked, cause I trust them and they trust me (except when Stefan tried to get me into the Swans), which is really what I'd say it's all about. The general point being that I don't believe these "camps" really exist (Suede/Manics, Indiepoppers), it may well be what people talk about cause they think it's going to be of interest to others perhaps. If anyone wants to disprove this please let me know if you belong exclusively to one of these camps. Phew... Bad day at work... nothing's working today.
