The fact is that this festival's been giving me hard times as well, cos I can't possibly go there (don't ask me 'why not'). I even started dreaming in the night that I'm there...Or was it the other way round? Cos it might as well be, that I dreamt that my fav band came here to play...
the festival has been inspiring my dreams, as well. the other night i dreamt that, terribly disappointed at not being able to attend the festival, several fans and i contacted stuart m. miraculously, he offered to give a lecture in the states as consolation. and what do you know, the lecture was to be held in my bedroom (which was a bit more spacious in the dream). after much preparation (posting advertisement flyers featuring head shots of stuart, boiling water for tea, etc.), stuart arrived. seated comfortably on a bean bag chair, he didn't lecture so much as chat with a few dozen of us. i can't remember the content of the conversation, except that at one point he was discussing a favorite author, and everyone seemed to get along marvellously. the highlight of the afternoon was when stuart brought out his cat. he was deep brown and lean, very inquisitive and well behaved. and his name was richard. hmm. --emily, who recently discovered that her favorite prof likes b+s (note to kristen: i think my subconscious generated the bean bag element because you would surely appreciate it.) scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen (this means you really love me) ... rusholme ruffians +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
