Sinister: When Band psychology is misunderstood
Hi, B&S are not selling out, but there is a bit of songwriting and band psych 101 involved here. El Zober, did not get why i can understand why B&S seem to be a little weird, and I can say it is perfectly natural, and i can understand why thier new stuff may not be as good, or completely differant from thier old stuff. IT IS NOT SELLING OUT. I have alot of freinds who are in bands, some bands that hit it big, some bands that are still struggling, and some bands that well can be huge, but just never get over thier own personality. But all good bands have the band psychology effect, a sort of constant questioning and struggle to write good songs. It happens to anybody who is a muscian, maybe B&S is in a downcycle, and hopefully they get some grand self realization where they produce another really damn good album. Well if they are around that long, but niether jeepster or matador is going to drop them, so the only way they are going to break up is well personal disputes....so they will probably go through a cycle where they will produce a bunch of good stuff. It happens to every band... So hang in thier folks, plus even the not so good B&S stuff is probably really good. Plus this selling out question is silly since B&S had thier chance and turned it down.
