i forgot to respond to the musician question i dunno if id call myself a musician, maybe more so recently i sing, perty good though a limited range within comfort zone, and sanity zone i can do wacko vibrato but i sound like a raving loonie i dont play guitar because chords are too complicated i dont like using many fingers at once, i play bass fairly well though i havent practiced in awhile, i like slides, especially on my bass it makes cool little noises i play violin and ive actually done so successfully lately since i put away the sheet music and started playing along to my poems which have been slowly metamorphisizing into songs lately i spose my music if i had something to record more than my singing or violin on would sound like Elliot Smith, i have the annoying habit of making cuplets out of everything if i dont have a melody to follow, and maybe a less cool nick drake when i breathe too much i use too much vibrato anyway thats prolly more info than anyone wanted i wont really considermyself a musician until i have one of the instruments i really want to play: singing saw, pedal steel, theremin but im too poor to buy anything like that guess thats it, i need to be in a band badly, because i have trouble ccoming up with melodies that arent inherent in the words kay ill shut up now ive said enough today ----Ev np-Silver Jews-American Water, these guys sound like a more typical type indie version of Giant Sand, esp the singer and some of the lyrics, and that is a very good thing, the world needs more good giant sand sounding bands damnit -- I'm just a shy boy sitting in a house When everyone's gone
