AARRGGHH God damn it!!! I got to go to work in an hour! ah.. the splendour of aol technical support. I got my B+S tickets in the post today so I thought it warranted a post to the list... mobile hasn't stopped beeping all day... yep I said beeping... I have one of those arcane models (hahaha arcane model, I was just reading back over the message and noticed a delgados reference without even meaning it!) that looks like it might have been handed to moses from God on the mount! Its the size of a brick for crying out loud!!!! It spent a night under three feet of snow last year! Went to look for it the next morning and all you heard was this ridiculously muffled beeping! Still works too! PICNICS! I know I wrote this yesterday, however are we actually gonna organise some for the summer? Why is it I think about this more when the sun is streaming in my front room? FOOTBALL I read with interest that some of you guys from london have a footy tourney. Sounds way cool. Do we do anything like that up here in Glasgow? If not.. we should! Anyone fancy it? So... what a feeling it is for a guy incredibly low in self-confidence to have a very pretty girlfriend, and also to find out that a girl at work has a major crush on him! Melikes my life just now however methinks I wont tell girlfriend about said girl! Girlfriend may get paranoid! So the sun is out and it tends to bring two dispirate types of people out into the centre of glasgow! We have the 'studenty' types... (I hate that term - but you know what i mean!) Damned attractive girls in their vest tops and flares... its a joy to walk round town (if this sounds sexist i apologise but i think everyone knows what I mean!) until... the second group catches yer eye... those bastard neds with their t-shirts off and hanging from the inside of their waistband! Why is it men have the annoying habit of assuming the are immediately attractive to all animals the minute they strip to the waist! Methinks Not! I now have an guru! How cool is that!? Stuff to do tonight and tomorrow night if you're doing nothing else and you happen to be in the glasgow area! Tonight! - Soundtrax @ 13th note club! bunch of musicians get together and perform music as a soundtrack to a piece of film. Amongst others tonight pour vos plaisir, will be the flaming mongrels (andy from Troika, Colin from Squander Pilots, and Paul from Single point of light), and as far as I've been led to be aware, ultimo dragon. Tomorrow night! - Madonna tribute night @13th note Club! bunch of musicians who really should know better get together and play madonna songs in original and surprising ways for some sort of kitsch enjoyment! playing are (and again I'm led to believe) Akira, a troika/house collaboration, and also My Legendary Girlfriend.
