Sinister: "sad bastard music"
there is a tiny corner bar that has become a weekly gathering place for my little group of maladjusted companions, and the last time we were there my dear emily decided to play dj...vetoing the grateful dead and subjecting everyone to fold your hands child. the first two tracks went over fine, or else all of the "hippie kids" were too spun to realize that jerry was gone, but as soon as our entire table gleefully sang out "joseph was travelling with a heavy loooaad..." some unidentified drunk shouted out "bloody hell, what is this?" and jerry was back in a flash. as much as we all enjoy listening to belle and sebastian while we sip our gin and tonic at home, the area bar scene has not yet grown weary of styx. it looks as though we have our work cut out for us...
