Sinister: holes dug by little moles telephone poles and trolls and foals
Dear sinister poppets: and Arantxa said: And Tag can dance. This is very good. But I heard that Tag has extremely small feet. I always thought dancers had to have big feet, with long toes, to keep from falling over. and then there't the B& S merchandising thing: I guess it's not that important to me, seeing as I'm the sort of flibbertygibbet that only buys band t-shirts on the way out, after seeing some amazing show, exhilirated and flush-faced and ready to spend *something* in order to express my celebratory mood/frenzied moment/lust. How does that all mix up all together? Must be a music thing. Anyway, the only t-shirt that's lasted me through the years is my battered faded james tshirt circa early nineties ... anyway, the tshirt I would have liked from Jeepster isn't made anymore, I'm sad about that. They were the nicest ones. And about dreams: I think dreams are our personal myths. Dreams can haunt us all their lives. I had a dream 5 years ago, I was a mermaid once, who left the sea and once dry, wanted to find it again, but I couldn't find it, I looked everywhere... and then I spotted a merman, and we went off to look together... it was a beautiful dream. If any of you have dreams that have stayed with you like this you would like to share, please email me privately, I'll put them up on my web site. By the way, I think the best time to listen to new music is in the morning, when one's mind is clear. And then you can get pleasantly startled awake in the best way, the brightest way, if what comes to you is beautiful. Today it was brazilian music, something about "... mente loca ... toca... um momento" etc. and there were two male voices and mostly percussion, if anyone has an idea who it was, I'll give you a bright and shiny nickel. Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way round - I've got huge feet but I can't dance for toffee. Or more accurately, I normally dance like my feet are stuck in a large pool of toffee and I'm trying to get out. As anyone who made it to Brighton Beach after the Leeds gig last year can testify... As for the T-Shirts, yes David has said that Jeepster will probably stop selling B&S merchandise before long, but that it's up to the band themselves if they want to let someone else take over instead. So if the Glaswegians on the list have a word with little Stuart M, we could start a Sinister T-shirt emporium... Oh, and by the way, to Blake / Claire / anyone else who's going to London at any point, all you need to do is email Trousers and see if there's going to be a Blue Soda social at the Poetry Cafe while you're here, then we'll all get to meet you...
